OSWATT, "O" Censored, What Are They Thinking!

Not so much OSWATT today as when OSWATT was built in 2004/2005. However there is still some very cool guts and ideas implemented in this XT/AT converted case. First and for most is it's shear size, they don't make cases this big any more. Second is it's lack of noise, even with everything going full tilt. And then the cool guts.

OSWATT has ten internal drive bays, four CDROM bays, two 3.5" floppy bays, double depth PSU, and a Full size-ATX motherboard tray with room to spare. You just don't get these specs in todays "Full-Towers". you either do without spare CD-ROMs or hard drives bays. And good luck puting an Extended-ATX Quad-Scoket Server board in one.

The next runner up are the ugly file-cabinet on coaster things. put it out on the porch, cut a hole in the top, put a five gallon bucket of dirt in it, and call it an ash-tray. I wanted a CAD-Work-Station, NOT a supermarket trash can.

A special thanks goes to Scott Thrasher for his help and the use of his tools, Jim Thrasher for the use of his garage and driveway, and Michael Lavoie for the computer case.
